   Hello i want to tell you something. On Saturday June 27th 2014 there was an event about art and culture organized by SMAN 3 Bandung. I was a comittee of that event. My role was a society connector. Couple days ago i went to a houses in Jl. Bali and Jl. Kalimantan to ask their permission to make this event sucess. We dont want the society nearby disturbed by our event such as loud sound and lights. I was also the one to invited mayor of bandung Mr. Ridwan Kamil to our event

  


    I went to the location  at 05:30 AM . we had a little briefing before we open the event. the first event was a parade in litlle indonesia. this parade was participated by a lot of elementary schoolsm and junior higschools such as SMP 2 and . the parade was magnificent because there were also a lot of sundanese character and music instruments. we came back to Location at 09;00. then the event was opened by the mayor of bandung. he said a little things that we should know

    My favourite event was performance by Indonesia Bamboo Comunity. it was very interesting because the music instrument is made from bamboo. the guitar is made fro bamboo, the bass is made from bamboo. even the drum was made from bamboo. It was a great combination betwerrn art and music. they performed a lot of song including local song and foreign song. The song was really nice. alot of people were sing a long with them . There also a vocalist in that group with a loud and beautifull sound

   
    The event that was worth waiting is the performance by glenn fredly and his band. When Glenn started to sing . a lot of people crowded that place. There were a lot of songs that were performed by Glenn Fredly such as "Terserah". That song made the crowd sing along together with Glenn. There were also a lot of skillfull band members. My favourite one was the man playing saxophone. He is very skilled. He played beautifull song. after their performance the closing was performed by debus api. After that we all came back to our houses

The Legend Of Tangkuban Perahu

    Hello everybody! i would like to tell you about one of many legends in west java. I think this is a cool legend. Some of you may know this legend. it called 

                                              TANGKUBAN PERAHU 

    Long time ago in West Java, there lived a woman named Dayang Sumbi. She have son named sangkuriang One day, Sangkuriang was hunting in the forest and then he killed Tumang. Originally tumang is dayang sumbi's husband. than he turned into a dog. When Dayang Sumbi knew that she hit Sangkuriang’s head with a big spoon and expelled him. Many years later, Sangkuriang wandered and found an old house in the forest. Sangkuriang came closer to the house and there was an old beautiful woman. The woman, Dayang Sumbi. Unintentionally, Sangkuriang forced Dayang Sumbi to marry him. 

   Dayang Sumbi agreed to marry him but Sangkuriang had to build a vast boat, just in one night.At night, Sangkuriang called his friends, ghosts ( some called it jinn ) and fairies to help him. Feared with the boat to complete, Dayang Sumbi asked other women in her village to help her. Then the women punched the grains with grain pancher to make noise which disturbed the ghosts and fairies. They were flee because they think it was already morning. ghost and fairies can't work in the morning. The morning came before Sangkuriang completed the boat. Unfortunately the fairies and the ghosts also left Sangkuriang alone. Finaly Sangkuriang got very angry and kicked away the boat to the downside,  which finally turned into a mountain, called Tangkuban Parahu. 

    you can find tangukban perahu in lembang, west java. from distance, this mountain look like an upside down boat. some locals still believe the tales are realy happening. this local story are teached to all sundanese men and women even a child know this story. this is one of the best legend in java 

Amazing Structure

  
  hello everybody! I would like to tell you about one of the amazing structure that exist in this world. I would like to tell you about an amazing statue in Hong Kong,cChina. the structure is Tian Ta Buddha or peoples always called it The Big Buddha. It is located in Ngong Ping Village in Lantao Island. To get there the fastest way is by cabble car. It taks 30 minutess to get there. The statue is is a big bronze of  a Buddha Amogashiddhi. It was constructed in 1990 to 1993. What unique is the day is the same day the enligthment of buddha

   


The statue named Tian Tan Buddha because it is a model of altar of heaven and earthly mountain . The statue is 34 meters tall and 28 ton weight. It is one of the biggest bronze statue outdoor. Visitors have to climb 286 steps to get the big buddha.  This site is so big you even can see it from Macau, China. The statue's right hand is raised. it is reprecanting the removal of afflication. While the left hand is on the statue lap in gesture of dhana. What unique about the big buddha is that this statue is facing north while the other buddha statue are facing south

  



 There are 3 floors beneath The Big Buddha. Every floor has it's own name. The first floor name is The Hall of Universe, the second floor is The Hall of Benevolent Merit, and the third floor is The Hall of Remembrance. All budhist people always circeling the statue floor every floor. From the first floor to the third floor. On the first floor there is "the offerings of devas". It is 6 little statue's that giving offerings to the buddha. Every statue has it's own offerings. The offerings are flowers sybolise charity , incense sybolise morality , lamp sybolise patience , ointment syblise zeal , fruit sybolise  meditation , an the music symbolise wisdom. all of which are nesseary to get to nirwana

    On the gate of The Big Buddha. There is a big white building wtth chinese letter on the building. In front of the building there are 12 little statues called "12 divine genrals" . What makes this statue unique is that this statue are representing 12 chinese zodiac which is linked to animals. Every statue represente different animals. On the top of the statue's there is head of animals which the statue represented. the statue's also grabbing diffrent weapon such as vajra, bow, long sword and other's

My unforgettable memoriy

    Hi guys! Today i will tell you about my unforgettable memmory. It is when i went to America for vacation. I was born in America. I think it is my second home. I spent my childhood in there. I went there on March 2013. I was very excited because it is my second time to visit America. My mother said that it is my birthday present from my family. I went to america with my family.

    I went from Soekarno Hatta International Airport to Hong Kong  International Airport at 6 am in the morning. We went there by plane from Cathay Pasific Aviation Company. I was on the plane for about 4 hours untill we arrived at Hong Kong for transit. After one and a half hour we took another plane to San Francissco International Airport. I was on the plane for about 10 hours before we arrived at the airport. Finnaly we arrived at the airport in America. i was so excited:). We had several check up in the airport.

    In San Francisco I had so much fun. We did not use hotel because my mother have a friend in San Francisco so we lived her house for several days. In the first day we went to Univercity of California Berkeley. Berkeley was my father's last almamater. We went to the tower. We can look all side of the town. what a lovely view. In the second day we went to Fisherman Wharf and Pier. We went there by one of the Landmarks of San Francisco it is the tram the little train. on Fisherman Wharf we played a lot of games such as trampolines and magic show. It was a great day. The next day we went to washington DC by plane

    In Washington DC. We Lived in my father's friend house. We went to amazing places there. The first day we went to the central of america. It is the Capitol complex. There are the White House, The Capitol, Abraham Lincoln Memorial, and The Obelix. It is an enormous structure. We took a lot of photos there. On the second day we went to museums in Washington DC. There were the aeroplane museums and natural hisetory museum. We looked a lot of historical items such as antique planes. skulls, old rocks. The next day we went to new york city by bus

    In New York City. We rent a hotel in Broadway. It is my favourite place of all. It is the city where i was born. It the morning my father went to another town for meeting so we went to another places without my father. We went to almhurst Hospital. It is the hospital where i was born. Then we went to the Central Park Zoo. The are a lot of animals there. It is exactly like in the Madagscar movie. We also went to the empire state building. It was the tallest bulding untill it was overtaken by another building. We can see the whole town from up there.

    After several days in new york, It was the time for us to comeback home. We went back to indonesia from JFK Airport at 3 by plane from Cathay Pasific. I had so much fun there. I can see alot of amazing places and buildings. I want to go back there sometimes. that is my  unforgettable memmory. What about you???

My Friend's biography

    hi everybody! Now iwould like tell you things about my new friend. His name is Ridho Apriadi Erbiza. He is 14 years old this year. He is sumatranese. He was born in Spril 2nd 2000. He lives in KPAD Timur no A 2. His previous school was 5 Junior High School Bandung. He is my new classmate in X-Science-1 class. He is a funny guy and a very nice friend

    He likes to eat dendeng batoko. I don't know what kind of food it is but i think it is some kind of sumatranese food. He also likes to drink mineral. Of course everybody likes to drink mineral water. who doesent?. His favourite subject is math. He thinks it is easy and fun. He is also a car guy. He likes Lamborghini car. He even stick the poster in his bed room

    His hobby is playing football. He thinks football is an interesnting and fun games. His favourite football team is Real Madrid because he hates Barcelona FC. He think barcelona FC is sucks. He likes Real Madrid FC since he was in elementary school. His favourite football player is Christiano Ronaldo. He thinks that he is a cool person, has a good skill. and hansdsome too. He thinks he is as handsome as Christiano Ronaldo.:)

    He has a happy family. His father's name is Mr. Jumadi. He is 50 years old this year. He is a soldier. He is a lieutnant colonel. He serves the army sice he was 24 years old. His mother name is Mrs. Erniawati. She is 46 years old this year. She is a housewive. She loves his mother very much because he think she is his hero. He has 1 big brother. His name is Pratama Erdiza. He is 17 years old. He study in a same school as we are in SMAN 3 bandung. He is in 11th grade . He likes him because he is very kind and likes to help Ridho to do his home work

    Every morning he wakes up at 5 A.M. Than he takes a bath for about 15 minutes. After that he pray Shubuh. He watch tv while eatting his breakfast. Than he goes to school at 5.45 by motorcycle. He study in SMAN 3 untill half past two. At 4 pm he goes to his private lesson . the name is Arianto. He arrives at home at 6 pm than he does his home work untill late night than go to sleep at 10 pm

MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY

    Hello everybody ! Welcome to my blog. My name is Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz. I am fifteen years old this year. I was born in New York City,United Statos Of America on june 25th 1999. I used to live in jl. Cigadung Selatan VII Bandung, West Java but right now i live at jl. Dalem Kaum no 56 near mosque agung bandung. I was studied in SMP Darul hikam Bandung but right now i study in SMAN 3 Bandung in X Science 1 class

     I want to be a global traveler because when i was a child My parents always take me to visit one place to another place. I used to live in America when i was a boy. I lived there untill i was 3 years old. My father worked as an architect in one of company in america while my mother worked as a part timer teacher for indonesian student on weakend. My mother always took me to her part time job. then we moved to Hong kong because my father got promoted. We lived there for about one and a half year

     My hobbies are playing football and swimming. I love them because they are very fun and healthy. My favourite team is Barcelona  FC. It is a very good team they were the champion of championship league 2012. My favourite football player is Lionel Messi. He is one of the best forward player in Barcelona FC. He is a very talented player. I want to be just like him because i want to be a great football player someday. I love swimming too because it can makes you tall

     I have a happy family. My mother's name is Atalia Praratya. She is 41 years old this year. She studied at University of Padjajaran Bandung and University of Parahyangan. She works at architectural firm in bandung named URBANE. We live in a same house. My father's name is Ridwan kamil he is 43 years old this year. He is a talented architect. He designed a lot of building in the world. He has an architectural company near our house in cigadung, but in 2013 he was elected to become the  mayor of bandung city. I am very proud of him. I have one sister her name is Zara she is 10 years old this year . She study at salman school bandung. i love them very much
